The federal High Court sitting in Asaba, Delta State has declared Hon Talib Tabite winner in a case between him and Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi over who becomes the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party to represent Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu federal constituency at the House of Representatives in 2023 election.
It would be recalled that Tabite had won the primary election conducted in May, 22, 2022 Tebite won the primaries ticket with 34 votes, and was closely followed by Solomon Awhinawhi with 30 votes, Samuel Mariere 26 votes, while Eunice Okoh and others scored zero votes respectively.
However, the primary election was cancel and re-conducted and Solomon Ahwinahwi won in a landslide victory as Talib Tebite boycotts the election.
Though, the report is sketchy, a staunch supporter of Taleb Tebite, Dr Matthew Kwode said, “Congratulation to all take over 2023, we won the court case, Congratulations to Hon Taleb Tebite and all take over team.
